How to use

Key concepts
Dice roller is a quick web view of D6, D20, and dice totals. It draws uniform random integers from 1 to N, as many as the count, and shows the sum. There are only faces and count, so an expression like 4d6 is faces 6 and count 4—not faces 4. You can roll up to 100 custom N-sided dice for board games and TRPGs. After you see the total, apply modifiers or drop-lowest by hand. Results are recreational random numbers. 20 faces is D20; 100 faces is D100. Numbers are calculated only on this device.
Rolls run locally with no server. There is no automatic modifier, and no 4d6 drop-lowest automation. Add to the total or subtract the lowest face yourself. Recreational random numbers only; casino fairness is not guaranteed.
Example
Faces 20, count 1 shows one number from 1–20 as both the roll and the total. Faces 6, count 2 shows two faces summing to 2–12. For ability-score 4d6, roll faces 6, count 4, then drop the lowest yourself. Faces 100, count 2 is 2d100 summing to 2–200. D4 is 4 faces. Faces 8, count 3 is 3d8 summing to 3–24. 2 faces is like a coin showing 1 or 2.

How many can I roll at once?
Up to 100 dice. Faces go up to 1000. Count is capped at 100.
Is the random number fair?
It is Math.random for entertainment, not cryptographically secure randomness.
Is there a +5 modifier?
No. Add it to the total yourself.
Is 4d6 drop lowest automatic?
No automatic drop. Roll 4 dice and exclude the smallest value yourself.
