Key concepts: checking key input
This is a quick way to check whether “this key works” when a new keyboard, laptop keycaps, or a dropped wireless connection is in doubt. It does not replace hardware repair or driver diagnostics. Also check USB or Bluetooth connection, input language, Num Lock and Fn lock, and shortcut conflicts with other programs.
Example
Start with keys you use often—Space, Enter, arrows, and the number pad—and note only the keys that do not respond. That list helps with warranty or replacement requests.

Is keyboard-test input saved?
No. It is shown only in the browser and is not sent to a server.
Can I test a Korean layout too?
You can confirm key-down events. The on-screen layout is English QWERTY.
What about a laptop Touch Bar or special keys?
Keys the browser does not receive may not appear on screen.
What if it conflicts with game shortcuts?
If another app intercepts the key, it may not reach this page either. Close that app for a moment.
Does it work on mobile?
It is more useful with a physical keyboard attached. An on-screen keyboard alone can be limited.
