How to use
- Choose an image so you can crop in original pixels.
- Enter the top-left start in X and Y (px). Defaults are 0, 0.
- Enter the crop rectangle in width and height. Default is 200×200.
- Press Crop. The region is clamped inside the original and a result canvas appears.
- Save with Download PNG. There is no drag-box UI—only numbers.
Key concepts
Image crop is for cutting profile thumbnails, banners, and extra margins by exact numbers. Original top-left is (0,0); x goes right, y goes down. If the region is outside the picture, it is clamped inside automatically. There is no drag UI—only numbers. Numeric crop is for exact pixels such as banner guidelines; after cropping, use the resizer to match upload size.
Units are pixels. There is no overlay box on the original—only the result canvas. Cropping is local with no upload. If the region is outside, it is clamped; output is PNG. There is no preview guide box.
Example
On a 1000×800 image, for a centered square try x 200, y 100, width 600, height 600, then Crop. If x is so large that width exceeds the original, the cropped width shrinks. Save as PNG, then resize if needed. On 1920×1080, a centered 1080 square can be x=420, y=0, width=1080, height=1080. x=0, y=0, width=400, height=300 crops the top-left 400×300.

Frequently asked questions
Can I drag with the mouse to crop?
It is number input. There is no drag-crop UI.
What if the crop region is outside the image?
It is clamped inside the original automatically. Width that exceeds the original comes back reduced.
What units are X, Y, width, and height?
Pixels. Units are original pixels, not CSS px.
Is a crop box shown on the original?
Only the result canvas is shown. There is no crop guide on the original.
Is the cropped image uploaded?
No. Processing is in the browser only. Cropping is local with no upload.
Can I lock a 1:1 ratio?
Enter the same number for width and height to get a square. There is no separate lock.
