Key concepts: day-stem five elements and color
The solar date’s day stem is split into Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water, then preset colors and materials are attached to each. Wood hints at green and teal with wood and plants; Fire at red and orange accents with lighting and fabric; Earth at beige and yellow with ceramics and earth tones; Metal at white and metal with glass; Water at navy and charcoal with sleep-friendly fabrics. Room size and daylight are not asked, so if it clashes with existing furniture, the copy’s intent is to swap only a small accessory.
There is no compass direction, house shape, Qimen Dunjia, construction drawing, or auspicious moving day. Color is not treated as changing wealth or health, and it does not pick a construction quote or a materials brand. It is an entertainment / interior hint, not feng shui construction, and fortune-telling does not remodel a space. Allergies, daylight, and lease terms come before color.

Taste, lighting, and existing furniture matter more. A Metal element often leads with a tidy-up hint: put clutter in a closed box.
