How to use
- Enter the word to attach a particle to. Examples: 사과, 바나나, 서울.
- Choose a particle pair: 은/는, 이/가, 을/를, 과/와, or 으로/로.
- Press Apply to see word+particle and whether the last syllable has a final consonant (batchim). Changing the word or pair recalculates immediately.
- Copy into a sentence, or Reset to start over.
- For proper nouns, loanwords, and English abbreviations, spelling and pronunciation can disagree—double-check in context.
Key concepts
Hangul particle helper is for blog copy, product names, and chatbot lines so 은/는/이/가/을/를 are not mixed up. If the last Hangul syllable has a batchim, it uses 은·이·을·과; if not, 는·가·를·와. The batchim indicator (yes/no) shows why that particle was chosen.
으로/로 is the exception: no batchim or a ㄹ batchim → 로; any other batchim → 으로. Examples: 학교로, 길로, 집으로. English-only input has no Hangul syllable, so the word is shown without a particle. This is not a spelling dictionary. Input is discarded when you close the page.
Example
Word 사과 + 은/는 → 사과는 (no batchim). 바나나 + 을/를 → 바나나를. 서울 + 으로/로 → 서울로 because of ㄹ; 서울역 (ㄱ batchim) → 서울역으로. 길 (ㄹ) → 길로. 학교 (ㄱ) → 학교로; 집 → 집으로. 사과 → 는, 책상 → 은.

Frequently asked questions
Can I attach Hangul particles to English words?
The last character must be a Hangul syllable. Otherwise the input is shown with no particle. An abbreviation like NASA (last letter Latin) gets no particle.
What is the 으로 vs 로 rule?
No batchim or ㄹ batchim → 로; any other batchim → 으로. Check 길로 and 서울로 against the batchim indicator.
Can I see every particle pair at once?
Only one pair at a time. Switch the type and copy again if you have several sentence templates.
Does this always match official spelling?
It follows the usual batchim rule. Proper nouns, loanwords, and pronunciation exceptions need a human check. It is not a spellchecker for press releases or contracts.
Is the word stored on a server?
No. Processing is in the browser only. Refreshing clears the word and the result.
Are particles like 의 or 와 listed separately?
Currently only 은/는, 이/가, 을/를, 과/와, and 으로/로. Attach 의, 께, or 에게 yourself.
