How to use
- Pick start date and end date on the calendar. The first visit may fill the 1st of this month through today.
- Set the include start and end dates checkbox. It is on by default so both ends count. Off means the day after start through the day before end.
- If the end is before the start, the two dates are swapped and the same span is counted.
- Press Calculate for business days (Mon–Fri), calendar days, and weekend days (Sat–Sun).
- Public holidays and substitute holidays are not subtracted. Reset restores this month’s 1st–today and the include checkbox.
Key concepts
This business-day calculator is for working days, days excluding weekends, and weekday due dates. This version treats Saturday and Sunday as weekend and the other weekdays as business days. Calendar days are the count of dates in the span; weekend days are Saturdays and Sundays inside it. It is a fast weekday count without a public-holiday calendar.
Korea’s public-holiday calendar, substitute holidays, and ad-hoc holidays are not applied. Schedules that must exclude bank holidays or e-court deadlines need extra subtraction. Hours are not supported. It is a simple Mon–Fri count for due dates and review windows. Results are for reference and may differ from contracts and administrative rules.
Example
1 Mar 2026 (Sun)–31 Mar 2026 (Tue), including start and end: 31 calendar days, 9 weekend days, 22 business days. Unchecking include for the same month drops start and end, so the count shrinks. 3 Aug 2026 (Mon)–14 Aug 2026 (Fri) included: 12 calendar days, 2 weekend days, 10 business days. A Sat–Sun-only span is near 0 business days. Calculating with on-screen defaults should match the first example. Change fields and calculate again under the same rules. For filings, pay, and contracts, official notices and agreements take priority. These figures are for reference.
