Enter values, then press Calculate.

How to use

  1. Enter monthly pay (taxable, KRW). The default example is 3,000,000 KRW. Items excluded from tax, such as a tax-free meal allowance, are assumed left out.
  2. Check employee and employer rates (%) for National Pension and Health Insurance. Defaults are 2026 approximations (National Pension 4.75%, Health Insurance 3.595%).
  3. Long-term care is a % of the health-insurance premium. Default 13.14%; if the notice changes, edit this field only.
  4. You can edit Employment Insurance employee (default 0.9%) and employer (default 1.15%) to match company and industry guidance.
  5. Press Calculate to see employee total, employer total, combined total, and a breakdown.
  6. Reset restores 3,000,000 KRW and 2026 approximate rates. Caps, floors, and reductions are not included.

Key concepts

The four major social insurances calculator (Korea) sums employee and employer shares of National Pension, Health Insurance, long-term care insurance, and Employment Insurance on a monthly-pay basis. This screen multiplies monthly pay by the entered rates, and long-term care only multiplies the computed health premium by a ratio. Income tax and local income tax are not included, so numbers differ from net salary.

It is simple multiplication without National Pension standard-income caps/floors, Health Insurance payroll caps, industry add-ons for Employment Insurance, or Durunuri reductions. When notices are revised, edit the rate fields. Results are for reference and may differ from a payslip or agency notice.

Example

Monthly pay 3,000,000 KRW at the on-screen default rates: employee National Pension 142,500 KRW, Health Insurance 107,850 KRW, long-term care 14,171 KRW, Employment Insurance 27,000 KRW, total 291,521 KRW. Employer Employment Insurance differs at 34,500 KRW for an employer total of 299,021 KRW; combined 590,543 KRW. Changing only monthly pay scales proportionally at the same rates. For reference.
